Life is Sweet
This is as customer favourite. It's inspired by the abundance of fresh organic fruit growing on the mango tree at our District 2 tea room and has become synonymous with our name.
Lightly whipped and blended cream cheese sits atop a decadent buttery biscuit base. The pureed mango gives this delicate dessert a subtle, tropical fruit flavour. A gorgeous visual contrast exists as the bright orange of the mango blends seamlessly with the cream cheese filling.
Unlike its baked counterpart, this chilled cheesecake is neither too sweet nor too dense. Each flavour component provides balance - they complement each other perfectly. It's served with an extra smear of mango coulis and a dollop of freshly whipped chantilly cream - perfect for any time of the day.
Already well-known for its one-of-a-kind antiques, decadent desserts and high tea, Villa Royale has opened a second location in D1 to add comfort food to its repertoire. Villa Royale Downtown Antiques & Tea Room (Level 1, 25 Ho Tung Mau, D1) ...... a wonderful epiphany for both the eyes and taste buds.
There’s a funky new boutique space in District 1 that is showing itself to be a real treat for all comers. David Campbell and Tracey Mitchell have opened a second Villa Royale location right off of Ham Nghi. Dubbed Villa Royale Downtown Teahouse and Antiques, the French colonial villa-style space opened its doors in November 2016.
If high tea in a classic colonial era building packed with European antiques sounds appealing, spend an afternoon at Villa Royale - in the heart of Saigon. It’s located in the historic banking district near Bitexco Tower.
